Isabella County Deputies are investigating a crash from Thursday morning that sent a Farwell man to the hospital.

At 9:44 am, deputies responded to Coleman Road and Fordyce Road for a motorcycle versus semi crash.

Deputies tell us the 26-year-old Farwell man on the motorcycle had crested a hill at an excessive speed and was unable to stop before hiting a semi that was pulling out of an intersection.

The motorcycle driver skidded into the semi causing severe injuries.

The 64 year old Vestaburg man driving the semi was not injured.

The motorcyclist was airlifted by flight care to St Mary’s.
