Manistee Police have released the identity of the man whose body was found after a garage fire last week.

On Thursday, the fire department responded to a structure fire at Fourth and Spruce.

After the fire was put out, firefighter found the body of a 53 year old man that City Police tell us is Roy King.

The Manistee County Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death to be smoke inhalation.

This incident is still under investigation.
