Kids First Uganda, a nonprofit based out of Suttons Bay working to improve the lives of kids. This all started after their founder took a trip to Uganda and came back with purpose.

Now flash forward to today and their current goal, to save a soccer field. The kids had been using and playing on a field with bare bones equipment, and after a series of circumstances the field is being put up for sale. Now they are coming together and asking the community to help them save the field and give these kids a chance to keep this important place and make it even better.

They need 150 thousand dollars to save the field and every dollar over that will go to improving and making it even better. Many kids who have been helped by this program have gone on to get scholarships, further their education and improve their lives, so without this field those chances might slip away.

If you'd like to lend a hand, you can find more on their website Kidsfirstuganda.org and find the link to this fundraiser. The sooner they can get the funds to save this field the better so if you are able to help out, every dollar counts.
