Man Found Guilty on 6 Counts Involving CSC in Clare Co.
One man has been found guilty of 6 counts involving Criminal Sexual Conduct in Clare County.
Adam Josiah Post of Harrison was charged by the Clare County Prosecutor’s Office in September 2022 with Assault with Intent to Commit Sexual Penetration and Criminal Sexual Conduct 4th Degree against a 16-year-old victim.
He was also charged in a separate file around the same time with two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct 4th Degree (victim 13-15 years old), against a 14-year-old victim.
He was later charged in a third file in March with Criminal Sexual Conduct First Degree (Relationship) and Criminal Sexual Conduct Second Degree (Relationship) against a family member from the time she was 9 years old to 15 years of age.
These charges stemmed from investigations conducted by both the Michigan State Police and the Clare County Sheriff’s Department.
All three files were joined for a jury trial, which began this past Tuesday and ended Thursday.
The jury returned guilty verdicts on all counts.
A sentencing date of January 22, 2024, has tentatively been set.
