Yesterday there was felony drug arrests by the Sault Ste. Marie Post.

Around 12:30 a.m. troopers from the Michigan State Police Sault Ste. Marie Post pulled over a vehicle in the Village of Newberry.

The troopers found methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Further investigation led to the execution of search warrants at a Newberry home.

At the residence troopers seized a large amount of methamphetamine.

They arrested five subjects for felony drug charges.

A sixth person was arrested for violation of a court order.

All being lodged in the Luce County Jail and are pending arraignment.
