DOWNEY, CA (NEWSnet) - Downey Police are searching for two people involved in an attempted murder from early Saturday morning.

At A1:10 am, Downey Officers responded to Mambo Grill, 11018 Downey Avenue regarding a call of “shots fired.”

When officers arrived, they found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told Officers the unknown suspect, and his female companion had been escorted out of the bar earlier in the evening due to unruly behavior.

After leaving, the suspect returned a few minutes later driving southbound on Downey Avenue in a dark-colored SUV.

The suspect then discharged an unknown firearm in the direction of the bar, from inside the vehicle, before speeding away southbound and out of sight.

All four victims were transported to area hospitals and are listed in critical, but stable condition.

His female companion is considered a “Person of Interest” at this time. These individuals should be considered “Armed and Dangerous.”

The man is reportedly Hispanic with a light complexion, 5’07-6’00 tall, 25-35 years of age, 160-195 lbs., and a light beard.

He was last seen wearing a gray or white t-shirt and dark jeans, a white and purple “Colorado Rockies” baseball cap, a gold chain, and white and gray “Nike Air Jordan 1” sneakers.

the woman is also reporteded to be Hispanic, 5’03-5’06 tall, 115-150 lbs, 25-35 years of age, and black hair. Last seen wearing a black long sleeve top, black pants, and black high heels.
