PASADENA, CA (NEWSnet) - A Pasadena jeweler says three robbers pepper sprayed him, then robbed the store of more than a half a million dollars in merchandise.

The smash-and-grab robbery happened around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The owner says masked robbers used hammers to shatter glass cases and got away with the jewelry in about three minutes.

The masked thieves got away with almost every piece of jewelry in the store.

Pasadena Police are now reviewing footage from surveillance cameras in the area.
