WASHINGTON (NEWSnet/AP) — President Joe Biden is hosting Japanese and South Korean leaders Friday at Camp David.

The goal is to give the leaders a more informal place to meet and create relationships.

The Biden administration says the visit will also serve as a backdrop to discuss growing concerns about aggression from China and North Korea.

It will be the first time Biden has hosted world leaders at the secluded retreat nestled in Maryland’s Catoctin Mountains, about an hour’s drive northwest of the White House.
