Cash App Founder Bob Lee Fatally Stabbed in San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (NEWSnet/AP) — Bob Lee, the founder of mobile payment service Cash App, was fatally stabbed in San Francisco early Tuesday.
The San Francisco Police Department said in a press release that officers responded to a report of a stabbing on Main Street at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday and found a 43-year-old man suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim died at a hospital.
Lee was also the chief product officer of San Francisco-based cryptocurrency start up MobileCoin.
No arrest has been made in the case and San Francisco police haven't released any details about any possible suspect.
