TNT Arrests Woman for Half a Pound of Meth in Grand Traverse Co.
Detectives from the Traverse Narcotics Team conducted a two-month-long investigation which resulted in the seizure of approximately 200 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 8 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of fentanyl, and a handgun.
TNT states detectives conducted several controlled purchases of narcotics from a Muskegon woman identified as 21-year-old Myikearra Lapri Piggee.
Piggee visited the Grand Traverse County area on several occasions specifically to deliver large amounts of narcotics before returning to Muskegon.
A traffic stop was conducted on April 26th where Piggee was found in possession of a significant amount of crystal methamphetamine, fentanyl, and a handgun.
A large amount of cash and a vehicle were seized pending further investigation.
Piggee was lodged at the Grand Traverse County Jail. She was arraigned in the 86th District Court on April 29th and charged with four counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine and one count of Felony Firearm. She was issued a personal recognizance bond.
Additional charges are expected to be issued by the Grand Traverse County Prosecutors' office.
